We’re almost there! Two weeks to go until the big day. We are very excited to be celebrating with you. If there is anything we can do to make your time here better, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

Please note the following road closures if you are traveling by car to the reception site. Given the closures, we recommend traveling north on Elgin and driving straight into the Chateau’s parking garage.

• Queen Elizabeth Dr. closed from Somerset W. St. to NAC all weekend between 9:00 a.m. Friday May 22, 2009 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009
• Laurier Ave. off Ramp closed onto Queen Elizabeth Dr. 9:00 a.m. Friday May 22, 2009 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday May 24, 2009.

Ottawa, ON

We’ve selected the ‘big day’ to be the third weekend in May. Originally we thought it was the Memorial Day long weekend, but turns out that is the week before! Regardless, it is still a beautiful time of the year given the timing of the Ottawa Tulip Festival the week before, especially for those traveling in from out of town.

We will be posting a schedule of weekend events and guests are invited to take part in whichever activities they choose. 

Our ceremony will be held at 13:00hrs at Rideau Park United Church on May 23rd and the dinner and reception will follow at 17:30hrs at the historic Chateau Laurier beside Parliament Hill. Click on the links for additional information about each of these events.
